Hey You,
On September 12, I announced my goal of achieving forty things before I turn forty in precisely 600 days. Not only this, I vowed to write about the process, challenges, and everything in between, every day until the end of 600 days. I know that I complicate my life but I have a very good reason for that. See the thing is, since I was a little girl, I have been setting timetables for myself. However, I have the curious condition where the act of writing my goals down gives my brain such a dopamine rush that I promptly relieve myself of the responsibility of pursuing them. Read more about this here. This time, I did not want to set goals for the joy of setting goals. And, I am hoping to find a template that can be used again and again.
While the goals are all the things that I have been aiming to achieve to advance my career and life, there are some to keep the fun in my life alive. The pursuit without enjoyment will be very dry - my 2 cents. I love to live life to the fullest and I have the tendency to drown myself in worries. Keeping that in mind, I added this goal to my list -Try 40 new things - keep the fun and amusement alive
I am now thinking that I should write it in one place so I know where I am with this so doing exactly that today.
